Love Yourself Club
For many of us this concept of self love brings a mental image of a tree hugging hippie, which let me clear, there's nothing wrong with being a tree hugging hippie. But this is not what we are here to talk about. The concept of self love and compassion are the key for good mental health and well-being.

When you love yourself you will feel less stressed or uncomfortable when going through difficult events or awkward situations. You won't compete with or compare yourself to others and you become an optimistic thinker.
Self love will help you develop a healthy self-esteem, which is basically feeling good about yourself, your opinions, and your abilities. Having a healthy self-esteem means you understand failure is a learning opportunity, not a painful indicator of defeat. Your pride and confidence aren't easily diminished too.

Have you wondered why our characters are naked?

To answer that lets talk about negative body image first.
Dissatisfaction with one's body is a serious, international problem (Al Sabbah et al. 2009) and social media isn't helping. Research suggests that negative body image in both men and women stems from pressure to achieve unrealistic ideals of attractiveness. Having a negative body image means you don't like your body or a specific aspect of it. A person with a negative body image will often have thoughts about the ways they would change their bodies if they could. For example, you might want to be more muscular or wish you could lose weight. This can become an obsession for some people, they might place all of their value in how they look and believe that a new body shape is the key to happiness and being accepted by others.

Having a positive body image on the other hand means you accept yourself for who you are and feel comfortable in your own skin. A person with positive body image is happy the way they look and feel good about themselves. Usually, people with a good body image place less importance on their looks and more importance on who they are as a person.

Positive body image can be achieved by realising that people come in all shapes and sizes.

Psychologists from Goldsmiths, University of London have conducted research suggesting that nudity can do wonders for your psychological well-being, self-esteem and body image. (The Naked Truth - Goldsmith University)

What the researchers found is those who participate in Naturist activities are more likely to have a positive body image, which results in higher self-esteem of one-self as well as overall life satisfaction.
